Le parlement est une institution législative qui représente l’autorité et le pouvoir de l’Etat. Le projet du parlement d’Etat situé à Wad Medani a été pensé comme une forte entité repliée sur son périmètre et ouverte en son centre, à l’image d’une boite à bijoux renfermant l’auditorium principal. L’objectif principal est de refléter l’importance et la signification de ce bâtiment, celui ci s’élève hors du sol et s’installe sur son socle.Cette différence entre le niveau naturel du sol et les cheminements piétons crées ajoutent un aspect sécuritaire au projet.En considérant les aspects climatiques chauds et secs de la zone, le bâtiment est divisé en différents blocs s’étalant autour du patio. Cette organisation spatiale crée une place à la fois lumineuse, ventilée et fraîche.

The parliament is a legislative institution that represents the authority and the state power. The state parliament project located in Wad Medani was thought as a strong entity bent on its perimeter and open in its center, like a jewelry box containing the main auditorium. The main objective is to reflect the importance and significance of this building which stands out from the ground and settles on its base. This difference between the natural ground level and the created pedestrian paths add a safety aspect to the project. Considering the warm and dry climate aspects of the area, the building is divided into different blocks organized around the patio. This spatial setup creates a place both bright, ventilated and fresh.
