La volonté architecturale de l’Atelier Sylvain Guittet s’est orientée vers une intégration maximale du bâtiment dans le site, ainsi que dans le paysage. Le site naturel met en évidence un fort dénivelé topographique lui conférant des spécificités particulières. Nous avons donc souhaité les prendre en considération afin que les volumes de la crèche et du centre de loisirs, puissent être en adéquation optimale avec le terrain et s’implanter pleinement à la géographie naturelle. L’implantation proposée dans le programme se sert du terrain et du décaissé pour créer un effet de progression et d’évolution visuelle aboutissant sur un espace d’intimité et de sécurité dédié aux enfants, à l’instar d’un principe de « boites à bijoux ». La crèche et le centre de loisir sont formés de deux atriums jouxtés par deux cours intérieures, autour desquels s’organise l’espace de vie des enfants, composant les volumes principaux de ces deux bâtiments. Par le biais d’un système volumétrique identique, le site sert d’écrin à ces deux entités reliées par un véritable axe lumineux et visuel. Le contraste et la séquence caché/ouvert favorisent l’effet de « surprise » et la lecture architecturale, pour donner au lieu une véritable identité.

The architectural will of Sylvain Guittet workshop was geared towards maximum integration of the building into the site, as well as into the landscape. The natural site highlights a strong topographic elevation which gives it particular characteristics. Therefore, we wanted to take them into consideration so that the volumes of the creche and the day care centre can be optimally aligned with the field and fully integrated in the natural geography.
The implementation proposed in the program uses the land and its specificity to create a progression effect and a visual development resulting in a private and secure space dedicated to children, as a principle of «jewelry boxes».
The creche and the day care centre are made of two atriums surrounded by two courtyards around which it is organized the children’s living space. This area is the main component volumes of these two buildings. Through a same volumetric system, the site shows two entities linked by a real bright and visual axis. Contrast and hidden / open sequence have a «surprise» effect and permit an easier architectural reading, to give the place a real identity.
